The Landry & Arcari Experience

Our mission is to provide the finest rugs in the world at the lowest prices while treating our customers to the best service possible. When you visit Landry & Arcari, we take the time to learn about your needs and then to share our design expertise and product knowledge so you can make your choices with confidence.

What to Expect

Come into our Boston store and you'll usually find Jerry Arcari, Debra Freelove and Alan Jenkins (below from left to right). Any one of them can help you find the hand-woven oriental rug or broadloom carpet you're looking for.

The Boston store is a gallery-like setting with high ceilings and an open floor plan. Rugs are draped on the walls from supports which are raised and lowered at the push of a button by the same mechanism used for garage door openers. This is a very helpful device since we specialize in over-sized rugs and have carpets up to 18 x 27 feet and on occasion, even larger. However, customers can easily look through our sample rack of 6 x 9 feet rugs on their own. Our Boston location also carries our full line of broadloom carpeting and area rugs.

(Garage parking is available beneath our building, which fronts on St. James, Stuart and Arlington Streets. Bring your ticket up with you and we'll validate your parking for up to two hours.)

In Salem, Bernie Pine, Jeffrey Arcari and Irene Beattie (below from left to right) will help you look through our expansive new showroom of hand-woven oriental rugs from all over the world.

In either store, you are welcome to take rugs home on approval, since it's a good idea to see them in your house before you make your final decision.

The Carpet Mezzanine of our new building has everything you could want organized in an easy-to-shop display. We have the most exquisite Wiltons from Belgium, hard-wearing patterned Axminsters from England, futuristic woven vinyl from Sweden, technologically advanced fibers from the U.S., decorative and exotic grasses from Asia and the Pacific, and fine New Zealand wool carpets in the broadest array of colors and patterns you can imagine.

Our samples are displayed to make it

With her interior design background and carpet expertise, Barbara Pervier (left) will be there to assist you. Barbara can advise you on what fibers and weaves are best for which applications and will explain the entire process from taking samples out to getting ready for the installation.

And with any luck, Ralphie will be there, too.

We look forward to your visit and to helping you find the rugs of your dreams.
