What makes these rugs unique is the single-ply characteristic of the yarn. Each knot incorporates a single thread, resulting in a denser and heavier yarn. This, coupled with the use of an asymmetrical Persian-type knot, creates a nubbier texture with pronounced knots, adding to the rug's distinctive tactile and visual appeal.
