Crafted from a blend of imported, long-staple New Zealand wool (comprising 50-75% of the blend) and either superior local wool or South African wool, these rugs possess a lustrous finish that sets them apart. The imported New Zealand wool undergoes meticulous hand-carding and hand-spinning processes in the regions surrounding Agra, contributing to the sustainability of the local craft.

What makes the Soft Melody rugs truly unique is the incorporation of single-ply yarn. Unlike the common two-ply yarns, each knot of these rugs features a single thread, resulting in a denser, heavier yarn. This, along with the use of an asymmetrical Persian-type knot, creates a nubbier texture with pronounced knots, enhancing both the tactile and visual appeal of the rug.
