The rug is constructed with a blend of Ghazni wool from Afghanistan and South African wool, providing a rich, tactile feel. It features a double wefted foundation with a thick bottom weft made of dense cotton and a finer upper weft, which becomes visible upon shearing, imitating the wear patterns of antique rugs.
