The double-wefted foundation of the rug includes a dense bottom weft of thick cotton and a finer white upper weft, which, once sheared, reveals a texture similar to worn antique rugs.

With an impressive knots-per-square-inch (KPSI) of 104, this rug contains approximately 1,211,554 individually hand-tied knots. Featuring intricate floral and vegetal elements, the design includes a large, ornate central medallion with floral and geometric motifs. The muted color palette consists mainly of beige, light blue, and taupe, providing a sophisticated yet subtle contrast.
