Introducing our exquisite Pakistani rug, featuring the timeless Mahal design. This traditional rug showcases a soothing background in a delightful peach shade, complemented by a café au lait border. Crafted with utmost care, this rug boasts a new condition, ensuring its longevity and beauty for years to come.

Brimming with authenticity, this rug combines wool on a cotton foundation, providing a luxurious texture and comfortable feel underfoot. Its sizable dimensions of 8 '2 " X 9 '5 " make it a striking centerpiece for any room.

Meticulously woven by skilled ethnic Turkmen weavers, predominantly from the Esari Subtribe, this rug holds a special story. The wool used in its creation is sourced from sheep in the mountainous terrain of Ghazni Province, South East Afghanistan. Renowned for its longer staple, oily and high-quality wool, Ghazni wool is carefully hand carted and spun into carpet yarn near Herat, on the western side of Afghanistan.

This masterpiece is brought to life on traditional floor looms, within the homes of the weavers themselves, fostering a cottage industry type production. Its construction features the asymmetrical "Persian" knot type, ensuring durability and longevity. With a cotton warp and weft, and an all-wool pile, this rug showcases the craftsmanship and skill of its makers.

Adding to its allure, our rug is crafted using centuries-old, all-natural dye stuffs, lending a rich and authentic color palette that is sure to impress.

Noteworthy about this rug is its knots per square inch, boasting a count of 80. Based on this measurement, we proudly present our rug with a total of 875,211 individually hand-tied knots, showcasing the incredible attention to detail and artistry involved in its creation.

Embrace the allure of Pakistani craftsmanship and bring home this stunning Mahal rug, a testament to the legacy of traditional design and skilled artisans.
