Renowned for its longer staple, oily and high-quality wool, Ghazni wool is carefully hand carted and spun into carpet yarn near Herat, on the western side of Afghanistan.

This masterpiece is brought to life on traditional floor looms, within the homes of the weavers themselves, fostering a cottage industry type production.
