Introducing our Pakistani Motasham Kashan rug, a stunning example of traditional design and craftsmanship. This rug features a charcoal background with a camel border, creating a striking contrast that will enhance any space. The main color is a sophisticated grey, adding a touch of elegance to its overall aesthetic.

Crafted from high-quality materials, this rug is new and made of wool on cotton, ensuring durability and longevity. The size of this rug is 11'11" X 17'11", providing ample coverage for larger areas.

Created by ethnic Turkmen weavers, this rug showcases the skill and artistry of the Esari Subtribe. The wool used in this rug comes from sheep in the Ghazni Province of South East Afghanistan, known for producing longer staple oily higher quality wool ideal for carpet weaving. It is then brought to Herat, where it is hand carted and spun into carpet yarn.

Woven on traditional floor looms in individual homes, the production of this rug is a labor of love and a testament to the rich weaving traditions of the region. The asymmetrical "Persian" knot type and double-wefted construction contribute to its exceptional durability, making it capable of withstanding the test of time.

This rug features centuries-old, all-natural dye stuffs, ensuring that the colors remain vibrant and true for years to come. Its high-quality construction is further exemplified by the impressive knots per square inch (KPSI) of 162, resulting in a total of 4,958,903 individually hand-tied knots.

The Karam Kul district of Andkhoi, known for its skilled weavers and higher knot count weaving, produces the majority of these rugs. The hand-spun single ply pern knot yarn used in this rug further enhances its luxurious texture and appearance.

Whether you are looking to add a touch of tradition to your home or create a unique focal point in a room, this Pakistani Motasham Kashan rug is the perfect choice. Its timeless design and exceptional craftsmanship will elevate any space, making it a true statement piece.
