Made with a luxurious blend of imported, long-staple New Zealand wool, along with superior local wool or South African wool, these rugs offer a shinier and more lustrous finish compared to rugs made solely from local wools. The imported New Zealand wool is meticulously hand-carded and hand-spun into yarn in the surrounding regions of Agra, supporting the local economy.

A unique characteristic of the Soft Melody rug is its yarn, which is single-ply. Unlike the more common two-ply yarns, each knot in these rugs incorporates a single thread, resulting in a thicker, denser, and substantially heavier yarn.
