This particular rug originates from the Afghan region, specifically crafted by ethnic Turkmen weavers, primarily from the Esari Subtribe. The design reflects the traditional tribal style, blending elements of Turkmen influence.

The rug features a captivating combination of light blue as the background color and a vibrant coral border, creating a visually striking contrast. Crafted from the finest materials, this rug consists of high-quality wool on a cotton foundation, ensuring its durability and longevity.

The wool used in this rug hails from the Ghazni Province in Southeast Afghanistan, renowned for its mountainous terrain nurturing sheep that produce longer staple, oilier, and higher-quality wool. After the raw Ghazni wool is collected, it is transported to the western side of Afghanistan, particularly Herat, where it undergoes the meticulous process of hand carding and hand spinning into carpet yarn, ready for weaving.
